NME magazine cover

I have learned a lot from copying this magazine cover, mainly the amount of detail that goes into making it, having layers on top of others and showing a large a amount of material yet still the audience can see everything clearly. Also when taking the photo i learnt about hierarchy in terms of photography, making the most important figure at the front, much bigger and more importantly looking straight down the centre of the magazine.
I believe the main point of copying this magazine is to show us as students the level of detail we will need to into when making our own magazines, even when the work looks to the reader to be minimalist.

At this stage i have edited my photograph in photoshop, i did this so i could place another head on top of the photo, to get this 'extra head' i used the pen tool to draw around the head and then copied that onto a new layer, i then placed that photo of just the head on the top layer of my magazine to get it to be in front of the text.
